Lansing Lightning Flash League
The Lansing Lighting League is a summer basketball "Flash League". Each week, games will take place at a different outdoor court around Lansing. Instead of playing in the same place over and over, we will host "flash games" where we get to tour the Lansing area and connect with different parts of our community.
Bring your friends and family, some food tro grill and share, maybe some tunes, and definitely a friendly attitude.
Lansing basketball court cleanup and renovation Initiative
The Lansing Lightning League is not just a recreational event, but a volunteer project with a purpose to improve our local outdoor courts. We will accomplish this with the hands of the very people that use them. Every week, in conjunction with the league games, we will be heading up projects like replacing old and torn nets, pulling weeds growing through cracks in the court, righting crooked hoops and replacing bent rims, fixing park benches, cleaning up trash, and anything else that particular recreational space might need to make it a more attractive and enjoyable space for our community.
